My name is Anaya Baukman, and I am a Licensed Psychological Associate supervised by Dr. Chelsea Apree Clicque, Licensed Psychologist, LPC, LCDC. I graduated from Chestnut Hill College with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. I completed two additional years of study at the same institution concentrating on couples and family therapy and leading to a Certificate in Advanced Clinical Studies.

I have experience providing evidence-based individual, couple, and group psychotherapy to individuals in inpatient and outpatient facilities, and I have completed clinical training with individuals with co-morbid severe and persistent mental illnesses. I have experience working with adolescents and adults to address anxiety, mood, personality, psychotic, substance use, diversity, and complex or developmental trauma-related concerns. I have assisted couples with healthy communication, healing the relationship after the impact of trauma, betrayal recovery, infertility, miscarriage, separation and divorce, and the impact of personality on relationships. I also have experience conducting psychoeducational, diagnostic, and Autism Spectrum evaluations across the lifespan.

I work with young adults and adults, ages 18 and over. I am an EMDR-Trained Therapist currently pursuing certification according to EMDRIA standards. I am a Level 3 Gottman Method Couples Therapist and have completed advanced training in trauma and affair recovery from The Gottman Institute. I am currently pursuing sex therapy training.

I embrace an integrative approach to therapy drawing from a variety of evidence-supported practices including Psychodynamic Therapy, Family Systems Theory, Relational Cultural Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

My clients would describe me as genuine, relaxed, and caring. I strive to cultivate meaningful and collaborative therapeutic relationships, by approaching each session with warmth, empathy, and authenticity. I aim to foster a safe and exploratory environment for my clients with each interaction. I have a culturally humble approach that privileges your multicultural/diverse experience and leads to the development of a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to your needs.

I know it is challenging to begin a therapeutic journey and I am grateful you have considered me in this process. I believe in the power of therapy to facilitate growth and wellness. I look forward to assisting you as you make difficult changes and work towards healing and wholeness.

In my free time I enjoy dancing, yoga, walks with my dog, cuddling with my kitty, and screaming for my favorite football team.
