Administrative Team
Kyla Chee
Hi! I'm Kyla Chee, and I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida. As the Administrative, Marketing, and Clinical Support Assistant at DTS, I play a role in practice operations, marketing initiatives, and clinical support services, which provides me with valuable exposure to the practical aspects of mental healthcare delivery. I also work in a developmental research lab investigating emergent language abilities in children, which contributes valuable insights into the field of early childhood development.
With aspirations to pursue a Ph.D. in Child Psychology, my research interests primarily include learning and behavioral disorders in children, stemming from my experience working with developmentally delayed school-aged children in various enrichment programs. I am particularly passionate about understanding and developing psychological interventions to support children's mental health.
When I'm not in the research or clinical settings, you can find me practicing pilates, creating floral arrangements, experimenting with new baking recipes, or unwinding with a good book. Through my love for continuous learning, I aim to make meaningful contributions to pediatric psychology and positively impact the lives of children and their families.
Erica EGel
Hi there! My name is Erica Egel, and I’m passionate about helping people navigate their mental health journey with compassion and support. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science and Health Informatics from the University of North Texas. My academic background, combined with my experience in healthcare settings and public health, has fueled my commitment to creating efficient, caring, and client-centered systems within mental health practices.
I am the Billing and Systems Associate here at our practice, as well as the Office Manager. I handle a variety of responsibilities behind the scenes, including billing, insurance coordination, scheduling, data reporting, and making sure our systems run smoothly and efficiently. My goal is to help create a calm and organized environment so our clients can focus fully on their care.
I truly enjoy being part of a team that values care, connection, and the mental wellness of every person who walks through our doors. I’m proud to be of Mexican-Dominican American heritage, and I bring that cultural richness and perspective into everything I do—especially when it comes to creating a warm, inclusive environment for our clients and staff.
Outside the office, I love baking, reading, and spending quality time with my family, friends, and my sweet puppy, Milo.
