Ryan McNamara, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Loyola University at Chicago, a master’s degree in humanities from the University of Dallas, and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Before working in mental health, he taught middle and high school. Ryan began his mental health career working in an outpatient substance misuse and behavioral health non-profit agency. He has experience providing group and individual psychotherapy, serving in clinical supervisory roles, as well as serving as a program coordinator.

Ryan blends a direct yet flexible approach, ensuring clear communication and adaptability to each client's needs. It is trauma-informed, collaborative, and empathic in nature. His style is fairly structured, emphasizing the importance of homework to reinforce therapeutic gains and insights. At its core, his practice is client-centered, prioritizing the unique journey and goals of each individual he works with.
