Stena Lang is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Supervisor who received her Bachelor of Science from Centenary College of Louisiana and her Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Her career began with an internship in a psychiatric hospital, which led to roles as a therapist and later clinical supervisor in drug and alcohol rehabilitation settings. During her time in Florida, she developed expertise in providing individual therapy to children along with associated family therapy. These diverse experiences have contributed to her advanced skills in individual, couples, family, and group therapy.

Drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, Stena tailors her methods to best meet each client's unique needs. Her primary modalities include Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Sand Tray, Play Therapy, and EMDR. Her therapeutic style adapts to each client's age, personality, and presenting issues, allowing her to be both firm and direct as well as nurturing, educational, and guiding in her approach. Additionally, she contributes to the team by providing Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments.

As a strong advocate for the power of knowledge, Stena focuses on identifying clients' struggles and educating families on effective management strategies. She emphasizes the importance of creating an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and genuinely cared for, believing these elements are fundamental to achieving meaningful progress in therapy.
