Kyla Chee
Kyla Chee recently completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of South Florida. As the Administrative, Marketing, and Clinical Support Assistant at DTS, she plays an integral role in practice operations, marketing initiatives, and clinical support services, gaining valuable exposure to the practical aspects of mental healthcare delivery. Additionally, she works in a developmental research lab investigating emergent language abilities in children, contributing valuable insights to the field of early childhood development.
With aspirations to pursue a Ph.D. in Child Psychology, Kyla's research interests primarily focus on learning and behavioral disorders in children, stemming from her experience working with developmentally delayed school-aged children in various enrichment programs. She is particularly passionate about understanding and developing psychological interventions to support children's mental health.
Outside of the research and clinical settings, she enjoys practicing pilates, creating floral arrangements, experimenting with new baking recipes, and unwinding with a good book. Through her dedication to continuous learning, Kyla aims to make meaningful contributions to pediatric psychology and positively impact the lives of children and their families.
Erica EGel
Erica Egel brings her passion for helping people navigate their mental health journey with compassion and support to her role at the practice. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Science and Health Informatics from the University of North Texas. Her academic background, combined with her experience in healthcare settings and public health, has fueled her commitment to creating efficient, caring, and client-centered systems within mental health practices.
As the Billing and Systems Associate and Office Manager, Erica handles a variety of behind-the-scenes responsibilities, including billing, insurance coordination, scheduling, data reporting, and ensuring systems run smoothly and efficiently. Her goal is to create a calm and organized environment so clients can focus fully on their care.
Drawing from her Mexican-Dominican American heritage, Erica brings cultural richness and perspective into everything she does—especially when it comes to creating a warm, inclusive environment for clients and staff. She takes pride in being part of a team that values care, connection, and the mental wellness of every person who walks through their doors. Outside the office, she enjoys baking, reading, and spending quality time with her family, friends, and her sweet puppy, Milo.
